Is front wheel suspension necessary?
Ans: suspension help to keep your wheels on the ground, thus, increase stability and control. Front suspension is more important than back suspension.
What if I want to return?
Ans: Yes you may. We will also try to fix any faulty parts. Just to remind you that your Tetsu has warranty against faulty parts. Please send us an email and we will be in touch as soon as we can.
How fast can Tetsu E-bike go?
Ans: Tetsu has the power to go beyond the maximum limit allowed by the government. Current maximum speed allowed by Canada is 32 Km/hr.
Do I need to pedal to get assistance from my e-bike?
Ans: Yes, that is how the pedal assisted E-bike work. That is the power model encourage by most of the government in North America and Europe. To make it easier for you, Tetsu uses the most sensitive pedal censor to activate it’s motor and trigger the power move. That is the reason for its importance to use fully integrated power system like Tetsu power.
What is the typical range of a Tetsu e-bike on a full charge?
Ans : 80 KM on a flat road. It also depends on the road surface conditions.
How do I charge my e-bike, and how long does it take?
Ans: It will take 7-8 hours for a full charge of your battery from empty level. We suggest you don’
t use your battery to the totally flat level.
Are Tetsu e-bikes suitable for riding in the rain?
Ans: Tetsu performs equally well in all weather conditions. However, we suggest you do not ride your E-bike in the rain. Your chance of getting hurt is much higher on a fast speed, powerful E-bike. It is just like any vehicle, you can brake and stop the moving wheels, but that doesn’
t mean you can stop the fast moving vehicle.
What maintenance do electric bikes require?
Ans: Very minimal. However, we suggest you send your E-bike for regular check on the hydraulic break system.
Do I need a license or insurance to ride a Tetsu e-bike?
Ans: No, you don’t need a license by the current government advice.
Can I ride my e-bike with a flat battery?
Ans: Yes you may. But, please shutdown the E-bike electric power from the console. Without power your E-bike function exactly like a bicycle.
